The truth is, if I was maybe better or funnier or prettier, wouldn't I have starred in a movie? I can see it objectively as a businesswoman - if no one's buying your product, then there's not a desire for it.
And what I wanted to do was, I wanted to explore problems and areas where we didn't have answers. In fact, where we didn't even know the right questions to ask.
There's nothing particularly wrong with being more pessimistic than optimistic. Optimism is broad-based, non-detail-oriented thinking; pessimism is detail-oriented thinking.
